I NEED HELP NOW! 041 984 8754
SOSAD Ireland are delighted to partner with Irish independent publisher of speculative fiction, Temple Dark Books, who are producing an anthology of short stories and poems aimed at highlighting the benefits of writing for mental health. The anthology will be launched at the Channel The Dark event, at which authors will speak about what writing means to them and how it helps them through their darker times. Speakers include Claire Hennessy, Nicola Pierce, Oisín McGann, David Noone, and our Special Guest, actor, writer & director Baz Black from the RTÉ drama series, ‘Kin’.
Following the talk and the official launch of the book, the staff at Millmount Museum have generously offered a free guided tour of the Martello Tower, and guests are free to visit the museum itself. There will then be a catered brunch, provided by Twenty Twenty Patisserie from Carrickmacross; and a raffle for a ‘Mind Your Head’ Gift Set from the Twilight Wax Company. Channel The Dark is also generously sponsored by McNallys Pharmacy 365; and A Token of Thought gifts and design company.
