Meet Me in the Middle

I think it’s time we talked some sense

I don’t know ’bout you but I could really use the rest

And everybody’s tired, wondrin’ what to do

I think everybody’s owed a modicum of truth

So if there’s nothing left to lose

Just come out and say it

It may be our last chance

To clean the air between us

It’s probably now or never

Change is for the better

So meet me in the middle

And face this thing together

It’s bad enough we’ve lost all this time

It only makes it harder further down the line

We’ll only make it worse if we don’t try to lift this curse

So let be the one to hold my hand out first

So if there’s nothing left to prove

Just come out and say it

It may be our last chance

To heal the air between us

A baring of the bones

Breaking sticks and stones

So meet me in the middleCatch the line I’ve thrown  So meet me in the middle

You don’t have to be alone

(You) don’t have to be alone

THANK YOU!

A big thank you to Garrett Wall, Track Dogs, Chris Demetriou & Adrianne
