If you are a Qualified counsellor or Psychotherapist that would be interested in volunteering your time, or you are a trainee counsellor working towards your accreditation or qualification we would love to hear from you. 

We are regularly looking for counsellors in all seven of our offices.

The role includes:

  • Providing one to one counselling sessions with clients with a wide range of presenting issues
  • Adhering to SOSAD’s policies and procedures
  • A commitment of at least 2 hours a week

    • Requirements

    • All counsellors must be qualified, or a trainee with a recognised college or university
    • An empathetic and friendly manner
    • High respect for client confidentiality
    • Effective communication and organisational skills
    • Garda vetting
    • Two references
