Self Care Week #TogetherWithSOSAD
Mental Health Awareness - Starting with YOU
SOSAD Ireland is launching a Self Care week. We are inviting you to take some time out of your busy schedule and focus on your wellness and mental health.
Join the Wellness Challenge and choose a week in May that suits you to do one activity a day. The challenge is, that you have to take the time to do the task mindfully and be present while raising awareness for Mental Health.
Here's some of the activities that will be taking place;
- Walk (10,000 steps)
- Run (3km)
- Hike (5km)
- Meditate (10 min)
- Yoga (30min)
- Stretching (15min)
- Pilates (30min)
- Reading (1 hour)
- Journal (5 things you are grateful for)
- Cycle (30min)
- Paint/Colour (1 hour )
- Walk the dog (1 hour)
- Cook (mindfully)
- Listen to music and be present (30min)
- Switch off your phone (1 hour)
- Gardening (30 min)
- Water your plants mindfully (15min)
- Put on a facemask and relax with no distractions! (20min)
- Revisit an old hobby (1 hour)
- Trampoline (15min)
Upon signing up you will receive some helpful information and sources to give you more inspiration in taking on tasks mindfully.
