WSPD 2021
World Suicide Prevention Day is an annual world wide event held on the 10th of September to raise awareness of suicide and suicide prevention across the globe. SOSAD Ireland are hosting memorial events in Cavan, Monaghan, Meath and Louth to raise awareness as well as give people an opportunity to commemorate and remember all those who have lost their lives. At the event, people will have an opportunity to paint a stone in memory of a loved one and light a candle.
Drogheda
SOSAD Drogheda are hosting a memorial event in the Memorial Garden at the Augustinian church from 3pm – 8pm.
Dundalk
SOSAD Dundalk are hosting a memorial event at St. Helena’s Park from 3pm – 8pm.
Cavan
SOSAD Cavan are hosting a memorial event at the Old Abbey Land from 3 pm – 8pm. There will also be a mass at St. Clare’s at 7PM.
Monaghan
SOSAD Monaghan are hosting a memorial event at Lough Muckno, Castleblayney from 3pm – 8pm.
